How do I download dbfs files into my computer?

dbfsfilestoredownload filesfilescomputer
Question by robertobigdata · Jun 25, 2018 at 05:01 PM ·

Hello,

I want to download some files (csv) stored in dbfs for using them in my personal computer.

I have databricks community edition and I've tried so many things, but I've not succeded.

I've tried too with databricks client but can't syncronize. I put my host, username and pasword but no JSON found when databricks fs ls.

And no way to create a token.

Could anyone help me please?

Thank you so much.

Refer: https://docs.databricks.com/user-guide/advanced/filestore.html

If you are on Community Edition you may need to replace https://community.cloud.databricks.com/files/my-stuff/my-file.txtwith https://community.cloud.databricks.com/files/my-stuff/my-file.txt?o=######where the number after o= is the same as in your Community Edition URL.

I use Databricks cli commands to copy to and from dbfs onto my local m/c.

dbfs cp dbfs:/test.txt test.txt
